IOM Vilnius office provides assistance to the third country nationals as follows:

• persons, who have hold an expired visa or an expired residence permit (also for nationals of countries with a non-visa regime who have overstayed the eligible staying period in Lithuania);

• persons, who have applied for asylum and have not yet received a final negative decision;

• persons who have been granted protection in Lithuania, irrespective of the form (additional or temporary protection or refugee status);

• Vulnerable persons who had arrived illegally or are staying unlawfully in Lithuania and have chosen AVR as a form of obligatory leaving of Lithuania.

All participants must have the right and wish for voluntary return (participants have to have a decision on the voluntary return to their country).
