ABOUT IOM
The Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Project is aimed at third-country nationals or stateless persons whose stay in the Republic of Lithuania is on irregular basis, who have withdrawn or been rejected for asylum, or who have decided to renounce their current status. The project aims to ensure the sustainable and dignified return of the target group to their country of origin, ensuring fundamental human rights and providing reintegration services to third-country nationals as they settle in their home countries, with the goal of reducing recurring irregular migration. Voluntary return assistance is organized by providing essential support to all programme participants, tailored to their individual needs.
It is expected that 200 representatives of the target group will benefit from voluntary return assistance and at least 40 will participate in reintegration activities in their countries of origin.
